August's Essential Yoga WorkShop: Balance




Essential Yoga Workshops are themed, monthly workshops that weave essential oils into yoga practice to deepen and expand the yoga experience with distinctive aromas and powerful healing energy. Essential oils help to extend the impact or influence of the yoga practice beyond the mat. Specific oils are chosen to enhance the physical and emotional aspects of each theme. During the workshop, students will experience essential oils aromatically, internally with water (optional), and topically during centering/breathwork, the main body of the yoga class, seated poses, and meditation/savasana.

August Essential Yoga Theme: “BALANCE – Creating Optimal Health

Date: Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 (3-5 pm in Zen Room)

Yoga Focus: Vinyasa Flow, Effort & Surrender, The Power of OM

Oils: Balance grounding blend, lavender, melaleuca, On Guard protective blend, AromaTouch massage blend, Deep Blue soothing blend, wild orange, peppermint

Description: A vinyasa flow sequenced to integrate a slower-paced experience of essential oils, movement, and breath. We will use oils from doTERRA’s AromaTouch Technique to help support the body’s system to function optimally in response to everyday stress, increased toxin levels, inflammation, and autonomic nervous system imbalances. When paired with yoga,essential oils help the body and mind move toward a more balanced, holistic state of being.
