STUDENT OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

We are happy to announce the student of the month for February!

We are thrilled to announce that Tanya Seyfert has been selected as the Student of the Month for February!


A little about Tanya: 
Tanya is an Air Force brat and moved a lot as a child, including 10 years in Germany.  Tanya’s mom is German so getting to spend time in her mother’s world with her own family was a great experience.  

Tanya graduated from Penn State with a degree in Finance. She loves country music and aims to get in a few festivals around the country every year.  Tanya and her youngest sister do “Chasin Chesney” -which equates to picking one or two of Kenny Chesney shows to travel to each year.  This allows for some great sister time and fun travel opportunities! They have seen him a total of 27 times!

Tanya works in Crystal City for Vornado, a commercial real estate company. 
In addition to music, traveling and yoga, Tanya loves shoes! She can currently county 150 pairs in her closet now!

Tanya started going to yoga at MYBO when she got tired of her typical running and workout video routine.  After trying a few classes with her work colleagues, she was hooked! Through yoga, Tanya has been able to lose and keep off about 25 pounds!  But the biggest benefit for Tanya has been mental.  She has a hectic job and yoga keeps her grounded and centered. She is a much happier and calmer person when she is able to practice regularly (She is also a big fan of Amanda’s Pilates class!).


Other benefits that Tanya has noticed include a strengthened core and back and quick recovery from back problems.  Tanya also uses deep breathing to help with stressful situations and has felt the mental and physical benefits of maintaining a healthy and ‘clean’ diet.
